The Handel statue on the Market
Here is Handel, the very same man who wrote "the Messiah". He was born here in Halle. Now three hundred years after he lived, a large statue stands on the market place. On Friday, I went with Dwayne to visit with Guenter, another native son. He took us on a tour of the HandelHaus. Every year the city hosts a Handel Festival.

This past weekend, I drove to my parents' place and back in a rented Audi A3. Now *that* was a nice car! And its license plat showed that it came from Halle, so there's the connection between your post and this fairly random comment.
